Shipping and returns

Shipping and returns

All orders placed at Vig Vintage Wholesale are shipped via the courier company GLS.

The estimated delivery time is 24 to 48 working hours from dispatch of the order. Orders placed at weekends or on public holidays will begin to be prepared on the next working day.

These timeframes are indicative and may be affected by public holidays, periods of high demand, weather conditions, logistics incidents or circumstances beyond the control of Vig Vintage Wholesale.

Once the order has been shipped, the customer will receive the tracking information provided by the courier company.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout based on the total weight of the order.

The following rates apply:

  • Orders up to 2 kg: 7,00 €.
  • Orders over 2 kg and up to 5 kg: 7,00 €.
  • Orders over 5 kg and up to 10 kg: from 7,50 €. From 9 kg onwards, €0.75 per additional kilogram.
  • Orders over 10 kg and up to 15 kg: 12,00 €.
  • Orders over 15 kg: an additional €0.73 per kilogram over 15 kg.

The final transport cost will be shown in the cart and during checkout before confirming the order.

These rates may vary for certain destinations, orders of special dimensions or areas that require surcharges from the courier company. In such cases, Vig Vintage Wholesale will inform the customer before processing the shipment.

Delivery address

The customer must provide a complete and correct delivery address, including name or company name, address, postcode, town, province, telephone number and any other information necessary for delivery.

Vig Vintage Wholesale will not be responsible for delays or additional costs arising from:

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses.
  • Recipient not present.
  • Inability to contact the customer.
  • Unjustified refusal of the goods.
  • Errors in the details provided during purchase.

When an order is returned to our premises for reasons attributable to the customer, the cost of a new shipment must be paid before the goods are resent.

Receiving the order

At the time of delivery, the customer must check the external condition of the package.

If the packaging shows knocks, tears, damp, openings, tampering or any other visible damage, the customer must record the incident with the courier and report it to Vig Vintage Wholesale as soon as possible.

We recommend taking photographs of the package before opening it and, whenever possible, filming the unboxing, especially when the packaging shows visible damage.

Characteristics of vintage and second-hand clothing

Vig Vintage Wholesale sells bundles of vintage and second-hand clothing aimed mainly at professionals in the sector.

Due to the nature of these products, garments may show normal signs of use, including:

  • Small marks or stains.
  • Wear.
  • Colour variations.
  • Previous repairs.
  • Sizing differences compared to current measurements.
  • Small unstitched seams.
  • Scuffs.
  • A missing button or minor element.
  • Variations inherent to used garments made in different eras.

These characteristics are part of the nature of vintage and second-hand clothing and will not, on their own, be considered defects giving the right to a return.

The customer acknowledges and accepts that the bundles are not made up of new garments and that there may be a reasonable proportion of items classified as grade B.

Garment classification

For the purposes of our returns policy, garments are considered grade B those that show defects, wear or signs of use greater than usual for a garment classified as grade A, but which may still be usable, repairable or sellable given the nature of the product.

The classification of a garment may involve a degree of reasonable judgement. Therefore, the isolated presence of small signs of use does not automatically mean the garment should be considered grade B.

Returns policy

Due to the type of product and the fact that it is vintage and second-hand clothing sold in bundles, returns will only be accepted when it is verified that more than 20% of the garments received are grade B.

The presence of grade B garments in a proportion equal to or less than 20% of the total order is considered a tolerance inherent to this type of goods and will not give the right to a return, replacement or refund.

The percentage will be calculated on the total number of garments included in the order:

Percentage of grade B garments = number of grade B garments ÷ total number of garments received × 100

For example, in a bundle of 100 garments, it must be demonstrated that more than 20 garments are grade B in order to request a return under this policy.

This limitation will not apply when the bundle has been expressly advertised as:

  • Grade B bundle.
  • Mixed quality bundle.
  • Bundle for recycling or repair.
  • Bundle with flaws.
  • Bundle with a previously indicated proportion of grade B.
  • Clearance or goods sold under special conditions.

In those cases, the description and classification indicated on the product page will prevail.

Reasons that do not allow a return request

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind.
  • Lack of commercial demand for the garments.
  • Preferences of style, brand, colour or season.
  • Sizing differences.
  • Variations in the composition of the bundle within what was advertised.
  • Normal signs of use typical of vintage garments.
  • Presence of up to 20% grade B garments.
  • Garments that have been washed, repaired, altered or used.
  • Goods that have been labelled, resold or made available to third parties.
  • Bundles expressly sold as grade B, mixed quality, clearance or with flaws.

The photographs used on the website may be representative of the type of goods and do not necessarily mean the customer will receive exactly the same garments shown, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Reporting incidents

To request a review of an order, the customer must report the incident within 48 hours of receiving the goods.

The request must include:

  • Order number.
  • Date of receipt.
  • Total number of garments received.
  • Number of garments considered grade B.
  • Clear photographs of each garment claimed.
  • Detailed photographs of the defects.
  • Photographs of the outer and inner packaging.
  • Unboxing video, when available.
  • Detailed description of the incident.

The photographs must clearly identify each garment and the alleged defect. Vig Vintage Wholesale may request additional information when the documentation provided is not sufficient to assess the claim.

Condition of the goods

During the review of the claim, all garments must be kept in the same condition in which they were delivered.

They must not be:

  • Washed.
  • Repaired.
  • Altered.
  • Cut.
  • Customised.
  • Labelled for sale.
  • Used.
  • Sold or handed over to third parties.

Handling or altering the garments may prevent the return from being accepted.

Return authorisation

No goods may be sent without prior written authorisation from Vig Vintage Wholesale.

Once the documentation has been reviewed, we will inform the customer whether the claim has been accepted in full or in part and provide instructions for making the return.

Packages sent without prior authorisation may be refused or returned to sender.

The goods must be sent properly packaged, including all garments subject to the claim and following the instructions provided.

Resolution of the claim

Once the goods have been received and inspected, Vig Vintage Wholesale may offer, depending on the nature of the incident:

  • Replacement of the affected garments.
  • Proportional credit.
  • Discount on a future purchase.
  • Refund for the affected garments.
  • Return and refund of the bundle when the incident substantially affects the order as a whole.

The applicable solution will be determined based on the nature of the incident, the availability of equivalent goods and the actual proportion of grade B garments.

No refunds will be made for garments that have not been previously identified, claimed and authorised.

Where a refund is due, it will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.

Return costs

When the return is accepted because it has been demonstrated that more than 20% of the garments are grade B, Vig Vintage Wholesale will inform the customer of the collection or shipping procedure.

If, after inspecting the returned goods, it is found that the stated percentage is not exceeded or that the garments are not in the declared condition, transport and handling costs may be deducted from the amount to be refunded or charged to the customer.

Professional sales

Vig Vintage Wholesale is a platform focused on the wholesale of vintage and second-hand clothing.

When the buyer acts as a company, professional or self-employed person and purchases the goods to integrate them into their commercial or business activity, the transaction will be considered a sale between professionals.

By placing the order, the professional buyer acknowledges and accepts:

  • The used and vintage nature of the goods.
  • The possible presence of signs of use.
  • The tolerance of up to 20% grade B garments.
  • The shipping and returns conditions set out on this page.
  • That there is no right of return for lack of commercial demand, aesthetic preferences or change of mind.
